Mladá Boleslav/Valencia, 14 October 2014 – Only a few days after its world premiere the new ŠKODA Fabia is to be presented again in a great style at the ŠKODA World Dealer Conference held from 14 to 25 October 2014 in Valencia. ŠKODA AUTO introduces the small and completely re-designed car to its family of dealers for the first time. The new ŠKODA Fabia is about to be launched in the European market this coming November, followed by the launch of the Fabia Combi at the beginning of 2015.

At World Dealer Conference (WDC) event almost 4,600 ŠKODA dealers from around the globe will be given the opportunity to drive the new ŠKODA Fabia and receive extensive information about the brand's newest model directly from the source. Among the guests at the WDC are both European dealers and their ŠKODA dealer colleagues from China and Australia.

„The new Fabia is the next step of our model offensive," says Werner Eichhorn, ŠKODA Board Member for Sales and Marketing. „Together with our dealers we wish to follow up on the successful past of our small car, winning customer target groups for the car itself and the brand as a whole. The WDC emotionally ushers in this new era," adds Eichhorn.

With Octavia taking the lead, ŠKODA Fabia is the second best-selling model of the Czech car manufacturer. Since its 1999 premiere about 3.5 million Fabias have been sold. The third generation Fabia should boost the brand's success on international markets. In order to fulfil this task, ŠKODA AUTO has developed a completely new small car, which surpasses its predecessor in every possible aspect and sets a new benchmark in its class.

The new ŠKODA Fabia and the new ŠKODA Fabia Combi were among the highlights of the recent ‚Mondial de l'Automobile' in Paris. As the first series model the new Fabia captures the development of the ŠKODA brand's design language towards more expressive and emotional forms. At the same time, the model scores highly thanks to its innovative safety, comfort and infotainment systems as well as the fact that it is more environmentally friendly than ever before. It features the distinctive ŠKODA shapes and offers spacious interior, amongst other things it has the largest boot capacity within the small-class segment and high functionality further accented by up to 24 'Simply Clever' solutions.
