With eleven wins and five second place spots, ŠKODA is by far the most successful company of the "Czech 100 Best." "The Czech Republic has a long tradition of excellence in engineering and car manufacturing, and that is exactly what ŠKODA´s success is based on. The Czech-based car manufacturer has managed to remain on its successful course in the international automotive market also this year, and this award makes all ŠKODA employees really proud. At the same time, it perfectly completes yet another record year for our brand and represents an incentive for the entire team on the growth path of the coming years," according to Wojnar.

For the first time ever, ŠKODA will sell more than 800,000 vehicles worldwide this year. In the coming years, the manufacturer will continue its growth and increase annual sales to at least 1.5 million vehicles until 2018. To support this development, the company will invest in new products, capacities, and markets. In the next two years alone, ŠKODA will launch an average of one new model every six months. With the small car, "Citigo" and the compact sedan, "Rapid" intended for sale in India, the brand will introduce the initial representatives of the model offensive in the first markets during the coming weeks. The Citigo will celebrate its sales launch in the company's home market of the Czech Republic.
