Salon, ŠKODA AUTO has launched a new version of its media portal serving journalists on the internet. A comprehensive revamp of this communications channel provides increased ease of use and better visibility as well as a large number of new functions.

ŠKODA AUTO's totally updated Media Portal is available to journalists effective immediately at http://media.skoda-auto.com. The site features a new look and feel and upgrades for many of its functions. A distinctive feature is a visibly fresher design in keeping with ŠKODA AUTO's new corporate identity. Also, subjects have been grouped into categories, easing users' access. Visitors interested in ŠKODA's product programme, the history of one of the oldest car makers worldwide, or in ŠKODA's motor sport activities now benefit from a better content structure and expanded content. The site also provides the latest press releases and a large number of multimedia galleries.

Another advantage of the new portal at media.skoda-auto.com is better links between individual content elements. Press releases, hitherto pure text, now point to additional information, thus making it easier to find corresponding images and video. This applies to ŠKODA's individual models, too, with relevant multimedia material and additional press releases now being displayed automatically. Advanced indexing of key words in the site's content enables journalists to search ŠKODA AUTO's entire portal and its components more precisely.
