Weiterstadt/Munich, November 29, 2010 – When it comes to the environment, Škoda Auto holds a leading position. In the EcoTest, which is to be published within the framework of the current ADAC survey "AutoMarxX" (December 2010), the brand with the winged arrow in its logo has again received top grades and thus takes first place.

Not only does Škoda Auto convince with low consumption and emission figures as shown in the comparison of car manufacturers conducted by the largest German automobile club, which was confirmed by the total rankings of the "AutoMarxX" now presented by the ADAC. The traditional brand also continues to impress with a "particularly advantageous priceperformance ratio" as well as with the high value stability of its vehicles on the pre-owned vehicles market. With only 46.49 percent depreciation after four years and a mileage of 60,000 kilometers (roughly 40,000 miles), Škoda ranks third in the statistics. Also among the strengths of the products made in the Czech Republic are vehicle technology and economics as well as the safety equipment.

With that, Škoda Auro takes the sixth place in the total ranking of the ADAC AutoMarxX, with a grade of 2.27. Škoda received the decisive positive scores in the assessments regarding vehicle quality, environmental friendliness and safety.
